December Pre Season
The pre-season series focuses on progressively building aerobic and muscular endurance. We believe in varying the stress throughout these series with strength and power efforts (unlike classic periodization of building a “base” with low intensity efforts) and have found varying the stress is much more effective.
Whether wanting to produce a PR or needing to be reacquainted with running, our pre-season series are suitable for any athlete level.
January Pre Season
Continuing our pre season series during the colder, off-season months, our January training will still focus on progressively building aerobic and muscular endurance, with more emphasis being put on strength gains. Wherever you are at in your training cycle, January is a great time to develop the muscular endurance you’ll need for the months ahead.
February Pre Season
If you haven’t started your season preparation yet, it’s crunch time to jump in! Our February pre season training will encompass a variety of steady efforts at moderate aerobic intensity with short periods of alternating cadence and strength work. Our main goal is to prepare you for the season by stimulating an increase in lean body mass, strengthening the musculoskeletal system, and increase short-term work capacity to reduce fatigue in upcoming stages of training.
